MK Gateway sets a new standard for BTR

Socius is leading the redevelopment of MK Gateway, a new-mixed use £180m development in one of the UK's fastest growing cities - Milton Keynes.

Designed by Stirling prize award winning architects, Rogers Stirk Harbour and Partners, MK Gateway will include 185,000 sq ft of workspace incorporating offices, coworking and R&D as well as an innovation hub within a refurbished and extended Saxon Court, a modernist office building formerly occupied by Milton Keynes Council.

'The Village' at MK Gateway will redefine the future of urban living with 288 homes over 33 storeys. A UK first will be delivered, Vertical Villages – 10 outside spaces spanning three storeys which provide room for outside work, leisure and communal gardening.

MK Gateway will also be a game changer in environmental sustainability and wellness with blue and green roofs, generous planting indoor and outdoors to act as natural stimuli, and spaces for pop-up markets, food stalls, events and performances.

Socius has launched the search for a funding partner for the build-to-rent scheme, React News reported.
