MK Gateway shortlisted in 2022 Planning Awards

The £180m MK Gateway project in Milton Keynes has been shortlisted in the 2022 Planning Awards in the category for 'use of digital technology in planning' .

Shortlisted amongst a high calibre of schemes, the winners are to be announced on the 9th June and will recognise excellence in planning and associated placemaking disciplines including heritage conservation, urban design, economic development, partnership working, environmental consultancy, housing and law.

MK Gateway is being delivered by Socius in partnership with Patron Capital, First Base and award-winning architects Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners. The scheme will retain, refurbish and extend a locally loved building, Saxon Court to deliver 185,000 sq ft of Grade A workspace incorporating office, coworking and R&D space as well as a dedicated innovation hub alongside 288 homes.

MK Gateway will create over 2,000 new jobs, deliver nearly £300m in social value over the next 20 years, and provide opportunities for independent food, drink and retail outlets, including workshop space for local SMEs.
