Property Week reports on lettings at Edward Street Quarter

Property Week reported that Octopus Energy is to take between 70,000 sq ft and 80,000 sq ft of prime office space across two buildings at the site, formerly the European headquarters of American Express.

The article states that Edward Street Quarter, which will complete in summer 2022, consists of two main office buildings, offering a total of 110,000 sq ft of grade-A workspace at the former Amex House site in John Street, Brighton.

The site totals 55,111 sq ft across seven floors at One Edward Square and 52,008 sq ft across eight floors at Two Edward Square, adjoined by ‘The Clubhouse’, which has just over 5,000 sq ft of office space.

A total of 168 new homes are also being built in three adjacent buildings.

SHW and Cushman & Wakefield are understood to be the agents acting on the deal.
