Socius partnered with Wired Sussex over a shared desire to put Greater Brighton on the map as the best place in the UK for games production.
Wired Sussex’s campaign aims to build the national and international profile of the Sussex games community to attract the investment and talent they need to continue their growth.
The partnership will enable Wired Sussex to achieve its goals via a schedule of activity including a tailored events programme and a research report to establish the barriers to growth that games studios face and the support they need to overcome them.
Phil Jones, Managing Director at Wired Sussex, explained: “Our regional games cluster is extremely successful. It’s made up of studios that, together, sell tens of millions of console, mobile and PC games across the globe. We are delighted to be working with Edward Street Quarter to showcase the world class studios here in Sussex, helping them to attract talent and raise their profile.”
